As one of the early consumer facing dApps, REX has addressed challenges in migrating users from Web 2 to Web 3. Concepts like Ethereum gas fees and p2p storage solutions were foreign to Web 2 users in our Alpha trials. To solve this problem, we created transitional features including the Subscription Contract and Enterprise API to simplify the on-boarding process and create a user experience that transitions more fluidly for everyday users. The blockchain ecosystem will have to build tools like this that transitions users to web 3. We are looking to inspire innovation and collaboration amongst projects to close these gaps and create fluidity in the on-boarding process.
